Field Surveyor/UAS Pilot
TSAC Engineering is looking for a motivated, dependable Field Surveyor/UAS Pilot to assist a Party Chief in the field utilizing traditional methods of surveying and LiDAR Capture. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, and skills necessary for this position.
Requirements

Valid driver’s license
-
High school diploma or equivalent
-
FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot License
Skills Required
-
Basic understanding and knowledge of survey principals required to perform boundary surveys, topographic surveys and construction staking
-
Basic familiarity with the operation of Trimble TSC5 Data Collector, Trimble R10 and S7, and GPS Virtual network and other survey instruments
-
Strong background and interest in the deployment of drones for survey purposes

Strong math skills
-
Lift and carry up to 50lbs hiking up and down steep slopes
Responsibilities

Assist Survey Party Chief with the maintenance of company survey truck and equipment

Read and interpret plans and maps

Assist Survey Party Chief with field notes

Assist Survey Party Chief with all necessary duties to complete the field work
