Right of Way Agent
TSAC Engineering is currently expanding the Right of Way Department and looking for well qualified personnel to fill the positions of Right of Way Agent. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, and skills necessary for this position.
Qualifications

Bachelors Degree in Real Estate or a related field or a minimum of five years of experience in ROW acquisition

Current State of California Real Estate license

Experience with Microsoft Office is required (e.g., Word, Excel)

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects
-
High productivity and attention to detail and procedures
-
Ability to work in a team environment
-
Must possess strong leadership aptitude, be self-driven, and able to think creatively to solve problems
-
Must be familiar with records of survey maps, US public land surveys, parcel maps, assessor’s maps, tract maps, title reports, and land related legal descriptions

Experience with local agencies is desired

Responsibilities
-
Review and interpret client’s existing property rights for project assignments to confirm necessary project acquisitions.

Prepare various real estate agreements including easements, grant deeds, temporary use agreements, permits, consents, licenses, cost estimates, joint use agreements, and quitclaims.

Perform site inspections and evaluations.

Prepare correspondence and communications with property owners.

Work cohesively with a team, participate in project team meetings, and maintain thorough records of events and contacts with property owners.
